We don’t know how Santa gets information about how we’ve behaved in the last year. But if he could get it based on Contact ID or SIA IP 09, he could also use our complete monitoring system! We also wrote down the benefits of the choice:

Monitoring station receivers:

Receiving SIA DC09 IP messages - compatible with the vast majority of Security systems and communicators
Monitoring IP test messages - if a communicator does not send a heartbeat signal within the set time period, the Enigma sends an internal alarm event to the monitoring PC.
AES 128 Encryption - Global encryption can be set, what is more, to each security system or communicator individual encryption can be adjusted
Even 2500 account - One receiver has the capability to monitor the IP communication of 2500 accounts
WEB-based Event log - the event log of the Enigma is available in the web browser

Monitoring Software:

The Alarm Commander is monitoring software that can receive and decode the security and fire event messages from different digital receivers, and help the operators in their work based on the prerecorded data in its database. It optimizes the work of the operator by its preset settings, and provides a clear and streamlined user interface to facilitate quick and effective responses.

- Serial receiver, for handling digital receivers over the serial ports (RS232 or USB CDC) Supported protocols are ENIGMA, Sur-Gard, and SIA DC-07
- plug & play receiver recognition on the serial ports
- IP receiver, for handling digital receivers over the IP network (LAN/WAN). Supported protocols are ENIGMA and SIA DC-07
- automatic receiver discovery on LAN
- IP server, for direct reporting over the IP network. Supported IP event reporting protocols are E2 and SIA DC-09.
