Alarm panel event forwarding via landline (PSTN) connection

When using a landline (LINE) connection, the alarm panel communicates with the user or the monitoring service via an analogue, wired phone line, sending the necessary alerts. This traditional phone line can now be replaced with GSM, 4G, or IP signalling, eliminating the need for a landline.

Suppose a full-fledged line is provided (i.e., both line and ringing voltage are available, not just a 12V system). In that case, the alarm panel can call you, play stored messages, and even allow you to access the alarm panel menu remotely. Another option is to convert the Contact ID messages the alarm panel sends into SMS format, providing notifications for every event directly to your mobile phone. The signalling device can pair up to 250 events and 250 zones in this case, sending understandable SMS notifications to up to 8 phone numbers. You can specify which phone number should receive the alert for each event.

The signalling device's outputs allow the alarm panel to be armed or disarmed via SMS, voice call, or application.
